① What should I bring on registration?
The students should register in the Office for International Cooperation & Exchanges according to the time on the Admission Notice; those who do not come on time must explain the reason and complete formalities for registration one month after the commencement of the semester will be immediately disqualified from enrollment.
Upon arrival, new students should hand in
l Your X visa (i.e. the student visa)
l 4 one-inch photos and 4 two-inch photos of themselves
l Admission Notice
l JW 202 form
l Registration Form of Temporary Residence (if live off campus, ask the landlord for help)
l The Physical Exam Record (for those who stay over half a year, the expenses incurred in verification of your physical exam record by Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection & Quarantine will be borne by the student himself/herself)
② If I want to live on campus…?
The student who applies to stay in the foreign students' dormitory must sign a safety contract and pay the fee, and than he/she will be assigned to a room to live in.
③ Can I pay in dollars?
I’m afraid you’d better exchange dollars for RMB (Chinese Money) first and than pay the tuition fee in full within 7 days after registration. If you have special reasons for not being able to pay the fees on time, you have to give the reasons. Tuition is non-refundable to those who withdraw from school halfway through the semester.
④ Is there anything else that I should take notice?
At the beginning of each semester, students have to return to the university no later than the fixed time. They have to check in at the Office for International Cooperation & Exchanges and go through the registration formalities. If they fail to return on time without asking for permission in advance, they will be punished for absence without asking for leave. If they delay the registration for more than two weeks, they will be automatically considered withdrawn from the university.
⑤ What should I do with my X visa which shows that I have only 30 days left to stay on entrance?
A student must obtain a Residence Permit for a stay of over six months (including six months), or a F visa for a stay of no more than half a year. The student's stay in China is legal only after a residence permit or a F visa obtained.
The residence permit or F visa are obtained from the Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau within 30 days after the international students come to China and bring along with them their passports, photos, Registration Form of Temporary Residence,physical exam record and the admission notice and study proof from the university.
⑥ Should the students pay the electricity/water in addition to those charges in catalog?
No, you don’t need to pay any electricity or water.
⑦ Is internet installed in the room or should apply before use it, if yes, how to apply internet in the room?
Internet has already installed, it’s for free
⑧ What the facility is eligible for university student’s cardholder? (such as access to the library, etc)
International students who have a card can have access to public facilities, such as library, sports ground, public computer room, etc. Some charge will be paid.
⑨ Each application of visa students (X visa) require medical check up by China Embassy in Indonesia. If all the students did health check up in Indonesia, should they do health check up in China again to get resident permit? what are the reasons? If they should do medical or similar, how much the cost?
We need to check your health certificate in Bejing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine to see if it is eligible. If it is eligible, pay RMB 60 Yuan and a domestic health certificate will be given. If some items are missing, RMB 346 Yuan is paid for necessary check-up. Besides, you should take your passport and two 2-inch photos.
What’s more, If you do the checkup in a private medical institute in your country, you should ensure that the institute is confirmed by notarizing organization.
⑩ Do you require deposit for dormitory? If yes, how much?
Yes, RMB 500 Yuan.

c. How much resident permit for one year and for 4 years?
The answer to both question a and b is RMB 400 for one year residence permit. As for question c, RMB 400 Yuan for one year, RMB 1000 Yuan for 4 years
⑫ How procedure to pay tuition and accommodation fee if I have bank account of Bank of China in your city?
There are two ways to pay. One is to pay in cash directly, and another one is to open an account in Bank of Beijing instead of Bank of China. On the registration day we will guide you to our college’s Finance Office, you just give cash or your account number of Beijing Bank.
