2.      Most of your visa expire on July 16 and the summer vacation begin from July 9, so if you plan to go home after final exam, please remember to pay for next term two weeks before you leave Beijing so that your visa could be extended.
3.      Undergraduate students need to pay 300 RMB for the Specialty books before June 15. We will return the overcharge and demand payment of the shortage after you get the books.
4.      The Summer Vacation commences from July 9, 2010 till October. 17. All the international students must register in the International Cooperation & Exchanges Office (ICEO) on October 18, 2010 (Our college will take necessary measures to reinforce some buildings on campus during this summer vacation. Please see the official NOTIFICATION in the attachment). Take your passport, student card and Residence Registration Form (if your live off campus, please provide the new one after you get your new residence permit) when you come to register.
5.      The dorms on our campus are not allowed to live during the summer vacation, so we advise the students to go back home or live off campus before July 7th. Please return the keys to the campus dorms to ICEO one day before leaving. Pack your luggage and we will arrange a small place to hold them. Make sure to write your own name on the luggage. Do pay attention to the personal security and the safety of your properties, like passport, cash, airplane ticket etc.
6.      For those who plan to transfer to other university next term
Ø        Our office will offer study certificate (only one original copy) before June 30. Please tell IECO before June 30 if you decide to move to other universities.
Ø        Return your student card to IECO and the key to the campus dorm one day before leaving. Otherwise we cannot cancel your registration at BCBUU, which may cause trouble in your transfer.
Ø        Pay attention to your visa expiration date. The Visa office will fine you RMB 500 Yuan for each day if your visa expires. And when your visa expires over 15 days, they will cancel your visa and ask you to leave China immediately.
Please feel free to contact the teachers in the ICEO, the number is 65940726, Ms. Tian’s phone is 13488725564. Meanwhile you can dial the number such as 110 for policeman, 119 for Fireman and 120, for Emergency Medical Care. Good luck in exams and enjoy your holidays!
